Rap Battle: SCP 096 vs Wonder of U | (SCP Containment Breach vs Jojo's Bizzare Adventure)

For anyone reading this, first off thank you lol. Second off, this may be my last video for a bit. School’s coming back which means work is coming back. I don’t like it, but I have to. Plus it beats literally any other job around here, sure I’m a glorified babysitter most of the time but I’m not ruining my body with manual labor or anything egregious, its mostly mental strain. Anyway! This battle has had audio done for a while now, prolly about two years. It was actually considered a lost episode of sorts right next to… well i can’t spoil it on the off chance I finish that one someday. But thankfully I eventually got the hang of drawing these two and was able to whip up decent visuals that people hopefully don’t find repulsive. I’m more proud of it than I thought I’d be, sure other channels do better but for a one man show with next to no editing knowledge… I think it’s fine. Now for the two involved Scp has always been a fascination for me as a creator. It’s a really fun idea having any number of folks throwing in their witty ideas into a melting pot of a universe full of devastating invincible lizards and cute teleporting rubber duckies. My favorite was always The Shy Guy or SCP-096. The idea of him freaked me out as a kid, him being one of the handful of creatures adapted into the PC game helped too as I’d see this guy in many YouTube playthroughs, mainly Markiplier’s. What I think makes 096 so interesting is his rules and totality. If you can avoid seeing his face, you can survive. I like monsters with rules, clear methods of survival. Sure unstoppable beasts have their own fun, but in something where you’re playing a game as a hopeless D-Class praying to survive, a lot of the fun is circumventing weaknesses and learning every enemeies stats and status. 096 is even more unique among the more threatening SCP as far as I know in that you decide when to engage. He won’t attack unless provoked. Anyway, he was very fun to research and voice, it was a unique experience being all screamo for this one and I quite enjoyed just being crazy for a minute. Now the Wonder of U/Tooru. So it has been a while since I’ve gone through the entirety of Jojo, let alone Part 8. WoU was introduced to me through edits mainly, I would say it was a spoiler but in Jojo you can’t be spoiled too hard imo, because the series can get so crazy that the journey will usually be completely off anything you could imagine. Like WoU’s whole gimmick, the fact Tooru is for simple terms a rock monster. And how WoU is a stand that people see, but it is disguised as an old man. See what I mean? Bizarre stuff. I’ve used Jojo plenty before this time though its from the post Pucci timeline where everyone is reset, which is why Josuke and Kira are sailors now. WoU is interesting the stand alone, his powerset is super fun to discuss in its intricacies and that’s why this matchup exists mostly, an Irresistable Force vs an Immovable Object. Who will give first? Who is more insurmountable between the two? What wins? Overwhelming offense or an unbreakable defense. Lot of questions just to say Tooru and his stand are really cool design wise and play a fun part in their respective arcs. I love their intro and their end, and hope one day we see it animated too like Part 7.
