A Tiny Mouse Hangs a Star in a Jam Jar ⭐ | Oldies Playing in Another Room | Cozy Christmas Ambience

An old jam jar stands among the roots with a candle burning in it. A mouse in a nightcap is up on his stool, reaching to hang a paper star from a thread, and it will not hang quite straight. He is going to stay up there until it does. From somewhere behind the roots a radio plays the old Christmas songs, muffled to a murmur by the earth. Outside the jar the wood is quiet: crickets, a breeze in the dry leaves, fireflies, and stars between the branches. Three hours of it, for reading, studying, working late or sleeping. No voices, nothing sudden, and no rain.
