Misionera by Fernando Bustamante - Nicolas Hosford

This is simply an excellent piece of music! I love playing South American music, and this piece is a great example. "Misionera" is a polca galopa (lively Paraguayan dance) composed by the Argentinian composer and pianist Fernando José Carlos María Bustamante (1915 - 1979). The piece's title refers to Argentina's Misiones region which extends between Paraguay and Brazil. The original composition is for solo piano and it was arranged for solo guitar by the Argentinian composer and guitarist Jorge Morel (1931 - 2021).
