The band played a high intensity and riff-oriented style of thrash that sounded like a cross between LIVING DEATH, XENTRIX, and OVERKILL. Although they morphed into a Prog/Tech thrash band on the follow up album (which received more attention and praise), real rockers and underground thrashers will recognize Mission Executed as a heavy contender of pure old school thrash metal; an album that despite being mostly unknown is one of the most aggressive and high quality thrash albums of the 80s.
