Before Think-Eat-Win, Margery describes living with constant food noise. What should I eat? How much should I eat? When is my next meal? Did I eat too much? Food occupied far more mental space than she wanted it to. She was also turning to food during stressful days at work, eating when she wasn’t physically hungry, and carrying an ongoing dissatisfaction with her body. More than anything, Margery wanted relief. She wanted to stop spending so much of her life thinking about food. In this interview, Margery shares what began to change when she stopped focusing only on WHAT she was eating and started understanding WHY she was overeating in the first place. As she learned to recognize when she was seeking comfort or relief from food, she also learned how to experience and process those emotions in a healthier way. And the result? “My relationship with food has changed dramatically.” In this conversation, Margery and I talk about: • What constant food noise looked like in her everyday life • The mental exhaustion of always thinking about what and how much she was eating • How stress at work contributed to eating when she wasn’t actually hungry • Why understanding WHY she was overeating changed things for her • Learning to experience emotions without automatically turning to food • How her relationship with food and her body began to shift • The role coaching and community played in creating lasting change • What it feels like to finally have more peace around food Think-Eat-Win is designed for women who are tired of spending so much mental energy thinking about food, weight, and what they “should” or “shouldn’t” be eating. Because knowing WHAT to eat is often only one piece of the puzzle. When you understand what is driving the overeating, emotional eating, urges, and food noise underneath the surface, you can begin changing your relationship with food instead of fighting with it. If you’re tired of food taking up so much space in your brain, Margery’s story is worth hearing. Because food can become something you eat and enjoy... instead of something you have to think about all day.
