Toronto Eats: Day 1 of 30 – A Brutal Reality Check
Welcome to Day 1 of the Toronto Eats series! The goal is simple: drive Uber Eats across Toronto and Brampton for 30 days straight and hit $5,000.
To hit $5K, I need to average about $166 a day—but Day 1 gave me a harsh reality check. Between waiting for pings, dodging heavy traffic, and figuring out the best hotspots, things started off much slower than I anticipated. Stick around to see exactly how much I made and what I need to change for tomorrow.

Can I make $5000 in 30 days driving Uber? Welcome to Day 1 of my new challenge where I document the reality of the grind.
This series tracks my progress as I attempt to hit a specific earnings goal over the next month. I am starting this 30 day Uber challenge to see if hitting that $5000 target is realistic given current market conditions. Each day, I will be sharing my total earnings, the challenges I face on the road, and the strategies I use to maximize my income.
Whether you are curious about Uber driving as a side hustle or looking for a realistic look at full-time gig work, this series is for you. I will be transparent about my daily Uber earnings and the ups and downs of life behind the wheel, starting with today's shift in cloudy weather. We will see how the pay stacks up against the hours logged.
Subscribe for the rest of my 30 day Uber challenge progress, and comment below if you think I can actually hit that $5000 goal.
