LawJPS 1 year ago Don't think I've ever been accused of being inspirational!! but you're very welcome. NigelBarlow 2 years ago Hi I have been inspired by this video,I have joined the NPS, bought a set of pipes, booked some music lessons and am looking forward to getting going. Thanks for the video and inspiration. enginesspanielman 2 years ago Hello Nigel. This is one of my most played videos! Keep up the good work! Are there anymore videos on youtube of your work? I would be really interested to know and see the videos. derekpounds 2 years ago Nigel nice to see you using your time constructively. My friend Ray also plays the pipes, I,ll get him to have look at this. We will have to meet up soon.Alan V Alanvin 3 years ago Thanks for all the kind comments. When the video was shot, I thought I was accompanying George Welch (who you can hear playing the Uke and who makes my playing sound much nicer). The tune is called 'Sir John Fenwick's the Flower Amang Them All' bit long winded but sweet. Oh, and hello Joseph, what do you think of your uncle now? NigelBarlow 3 years ago he's my ungle go nigel hows everyone from joe joejoeman1 3 years ago Nice video... Im not from Ireland but I live here. I didnt see any traditions of NSP or border pipes, but as you know the uilleann is in every corner with traditional music. Probably the most complete and most difficult pipe...I would say that the Burleighs pipes are good, but being honest I have no much idea about NSP makers and qualities pajaro1576 3 years ago Nice video... I know they were played in Scotland and Northumbria too. seonidh 3 years ago I play Uillian pipes, Burleighs pipes look like a million dollars. You're from Ireland, was there a small pipe tradition there or was it just Scottish/English border area? seonidh 3 years ago Hi...I have a 7 keys chanter, made by David Burleigh, from Longframlington. I play Galician bagpipe and all this stuff with bellows and sttacato is a bit crazy... pajaro1576 3 years ago How many keys was it the standard 7 or more. I love the NSP who made them? seonidh 3 years ago Thanks for information! I bougth a NSP last month and this is a easy tune to get used with the fingering,I believe... pajaro1576 3 years ago I think its called the flower among them its a Scottish Northumbrian border tune. seonidh 3 years ago Very beautiful tune.
