Vocal Retraining: Authentic Éntechno Expression | Paei Efige to Treno | bernh-art atelierrehearsal

[ENGLISH VERSION / DEUTSCHE FASSUNG UNTEN] — I'm training the Éntechno song »Paei Efige to Treno« in my studio. I had a busy day and finally I was a bit out of breath and sometimes my larynx seems to be too high as one hears my breath (which shouldn't be). On the other hand, I had that thought of how wonderful the poetic image of »kissing life's dreams goodbye« is created by Nikos Gkatsos with the image of the children. So maybe, impressed by that, I got a little dramatic just after reflecting on that. If you want to help me improving my diction or understanding of the poetry, you're welcome to share your thoughts and ideas in the commentary section. Thank you. The paintings you see belong to a new still life series with lemon I'm actually working on. The framed works belong to the series »Aphrodite & Ares« from 2020 and my »Kemal Series« from 2016. They are executed with Kalamos, shellac ink, brush, and egg tempera on paper. You can find more about the series and the work process on my Instagram. Recording: The recording setting refers to the typical purist Manos Hatzidakis recording sound of the 1980s (as heard in »Gia Tin Eleni« with Stelios Marketakis). I'm sitting quite far from the vocal microphone, so the louder passages remain in their original recording state. No digital alterations. Ich hatte einen anstrengenden Tag und war am Ende etwas außer Atem, und manchmal scheint mein Kehlkopf zu hoch zu sein (man hört manchmal meinen Atem, was nicht sein sollte). Auf der anderen Seite hatte ich diesen Gedanken, wie wunderbar das poetische Bild des »Abschiedskusses von den Träumen des Lebens« von Nikos Gkatsos mit dem Bild der Kinder gedichtet wurde. Vielleicht wurde ich, beeindruckt davon, direkt nach dieser Reflexion, ein wenig dramatisch. Unterstützung oder Anregung zu meiner Diktion oder Austausch zur Poesie gerne im Kommentarbereich teilen.
