After visiting Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire we decided to take a quick hop over spectacular Wye Valley hills to Gloucester instead of driving all the way down to Severn Crossing. I must say I did not expect that. That part of the country is so underrated! The hills are marvellous, especially in this time of year.
