In this video, we head high above downtown Gatlinburg to experience Anakeesta’s fall festival, colorful autumn decorations, seasonal food, live entertainment, beautiful mountain views and plenty of fun along the way. Throughout Anakeesta, you’ll find festive fall décor and Bavarian-inspired touches that bring a little Oktoberfest fun to the mountains. We walk around the park, take in the atmosphere and show you what you can expect when visiting Anakeesta during the fall season. Of course, we have to check out some of the seasonal food! Anakeesta is serving fall festival favorites including Giant Pretzels and a Crispy Pork Schnitzel Plate, along with other food and drinks available throughout the park. For guests 21 and older, Anakeesta also offers a Bear Tasting Card featuring a handpicked selection of craft beers from local and regional breweries. It’s a fun way to sample different brews while enjoying the crisp mountain air and incredible Smoky Mountain views. There’s plenty of entertainment during the Bear-Varian Fall Festival too. You can catch The Undead Heads rocking the mountain, The Vampirettes performing fang-tastic favorites, and The Pretzel-Tones adding a playful polka twist to the celebration. You can also join in the Bear-Varian Bonanza Games for Oktoberfest-inspired games, friendly competition and plenty of laughs.
