Assalamualaikum everyone, and welcome back to Explore With Saqib!
As a Pakistani, breakfast has always meant Halwa Puri, Paratha, Chana, Nihari, and a hot cup of chai. But this time, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and experience one of the most popular South Indian breakfasts right here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
For this food adventure, I visited MTR 1924, a well-known restaurant in Little India, Brickfields, famous for serving authentic South Indian cuisine for generations.
On today's menu: 🥞 Plain Dosa – Thin, crispy, and freshly made 🤍 Soft Idli – Light, fluffy, and served with delicious chutneys 🥘 Puri – Freshly fried and served with flavourful curry.
As a Pakistani foodie, I was excited to see whether these simple yet iconic breakfast dishes could impress my taste buds. Which dish became my favourite? Was the experience worth the hype? You'll have to watch until the end to find out!
This video isn't about comparing countries—it's about exploring different cultures through food, trying something new, and celebrating the amazing flavours that bring people together.
📍 Restaurant: MTR 1924 69, Jalan Thambipillay, Brickfields (Little India), 50470 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Brickfields, also known as Little India, is one of Kuala Lumpur's most vibrant cultural neighbourhoods. It's famous for authentic Indian restaurants, colourful streets, traditional shops, temples, and the rich heritage of the Indian community in Malaysia, making it a must-visit destination for food lovers.
