Modular Performance with Mutable Instruments Rings and Crey Emporium Crest which is the drive/fold based on the input stage of Mutable Instruments Blades filter module section in 4hp. What started as a fun patch with Rings into Crest quickly turned into one idea rolling off another which formed this performance. The Crest is an amazing little module that absolutely keeps some of the heart of the Blades filter more accessible in a smaller 4hp size and in STEREO! Strymon Starlab adds some ambient reverb to this combination which echos the lovely subtleties between each pluck of Rings and Crest ringing out. Rounding out this modular song driven by the Noise Engineering Gamut Repetitor is some live playing on the Moog Muse handling bass sounds. Other sounds from Mannequins Mangrove, Winterbloom Castor & Pollux and some noise percussion from Eowave Ricochet. Hats off to Crey Emporium for coming up with this. Now I can get my favorite part of blades in stereo and it’s only 4hp! Such a useful module to have in your system.
