Easier to sharpen Elmax steel and is not a convex grind. Therefore, just use stones or many common sharpeners.
Lighter than the standard model (LT version is light)
Steel has better corrosion resistance properties
The sheath it comes with is Kydex and keeps the knife in the sheath very securely!
