We Made a Carbon Fibre Fender for Our E30 - 3.6KG Lighter

We made a carbon fibre front fender for our E30 — from the original fender all the way through to the finished part. In this video, we take you through the full process: creating the pattern, making the mould, laying up the carbon, resin infusion, demoulding and finishing the final fender. And the result? The original fender weighed **4.5kg**. The finished carbon fender weighs just **0.9kg**.
