State transit placed an order of 38 MAN ND323F (A95) buses as part of the 31 Kilometre (19 miles) bus rapid transit beterrn Mona Vale and City Wynyard. First introduced on 26 November 2017, The B Line provides a rapid service along the Northern Beaches (from Mona Vale) to City Wynyard, with frequent services of up to 7-10 minutes throughout the day (off peak), 3-4 minutes during peak and 30 minutes at night. There’s been concerns raised about the wear and tear of these buses serving this route, most of which are travelling 100,000 km annually (average is 50,000-80,000 km/yr). To address the issue, 10 new double deck buses (Volvo B8L Gemilang) were ordered in March 2025.
