Trains at Stockport, WCML, 05/01/2026

A sunny winter afternoon filming at Stockport, located on the WCML Manchester Branch on 5th January 2026. Plenty of action to see in the hour and a half I spent here, including a light GBRF loco, the Avanti Climate Pendolino and the standard range of other passenger trains. I've also included a clip from Doncaster at the start of the video of a diverted WCML freight working with a double headed 88 & 68. Trains featured: Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino's TfW Class 197s TransPennine Express Class 185s EMR Class 158s CrossCountry Class 220 & 221 Voyagers Northern Class 150s, 156s & 323s GBRF Class 66 DRS Class 68 & 88 at Doncaster ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching.
