Bartering like a local in Egypt's Megacity 🇪🇬

It’s time for me to visit the bustling megacity that is Cairo, Egypt. The capital of “the top right corner of Africa”, as I like to think of it, has some of the most craziest drivers and worst air quality on Earth unfortunately. But without prying too much on that, I was ready to go souvenirs shopping in the Souk, Bazaar, Market- Khan El Khalili. In this video I came prepared with the knowledge of how the Egyptian sellers highball the prices of their trinkets and souvenirs with monumental numbers. (It’s probably dozens of other countries that also try this with European tourists). I knew for a fact that I could find sellers who are willing to give me a fairer price, so this time around I wasn’t gonna tolerate being ripped off at all. However, I may have gotten a little bit carried away with this; I understand it’s hard for people to make a living in Egypt’s economy, but I will admit throughout this video, there were times where I may have forgotten about that.
