11 peaks down, 1 to go! 🏔️ ​Hitting the summit of 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗻 on August 15th brought us one step closer to a massive milestone: completing every single Lake Louise area peak in Alan Kane’s Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies (3rd Edition). ​ This is the toughest "easy" scramble we’ve tackled from Alan Kane's book. ​That steep gully was no joke—dang! When Kane wrote that "the ascent makes for a tiring day," he was not lying. The scree slope was an absolute slog going up.And when people warned about "serious bushwhacking"—they were NOT kidding! I’ve done my fair share of bushwhacking before, but nothing comes close to this.
