Metallica - Garbage Days Revisited (The Ramones Covers)

Bunch of The Ramones covers recorded by Metallica. 00:00 - Commando 01:49 - 53rd & 3rd 04:14 - Cretin Hop 06:09 - Today Your Love, Tomorrow The World 08:25 - Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue 10:07 - We're A Happy Family Little story behind it: "When we were asked to contribute a song to the Ramones tribute album, we began jamming on our favorite songs, trying to figure out which one best fit the Metallica vibe. Of the original six that we chose, it ended up being between "53rd & 3rd" and "Commando." "53rd & 3rd" won out." Other 5 songs later accompanied the "St. Anger" single. "This one is about as rough as they come. In fact, we're inclined to file this one under "Garbage Days Revisited", but it gives you a chance to hear how we sound when we get started in the studio on a new album. We bash around and play some covers to get ourselves warmed up. This makes it perfectly clear that we had a ways to go before we were ready!" ______________________________________________________________ Not Very Produced by Bob Rock & Metallica Recorded & Mixed by Bob Rock Assistants: Mike Gillies & Eric Helmkamp Digital Engineer: Mike Gillies Bass: Bob Rock Recorded & Mixed at HQ, San Rafael, California, December 2002 Btw, the artwork was made by me, hope you like it ;D
