Chalmers called out for his ‘addiction to spending’ as Aussies prepare for a rate rise

Shadow Energy and Emissions Reduction Minister Dan Tehan says Treasurer Jim Chalmers has an “addiction” to spending that is driving interest rates up. “Everything points to Jim Chalmers' addiction to spending,” Mr Tehan told News24 host Chris Kenny. “As for the Labor Party and Anthony Albanese’s concern, that spending is just going to continue. This is really going to hurt Australians at this time. “They’re struggling as it is. The last thing they need is another interest rate rise.”
