Now the room is empty; the rugs, stained glass, and old portraits remain, but the house still receives one daily visitor — a sparrow that lands beside the hat and listens quietly to the radio. • Light falls through the colored windows onto the old carpets, the coffee slowly grows cold, and somewhere between fading frequencies the radio begins to play: a courtly melody, a slightly detuned piano, a few distant notes of violin, or a poem that seems to come from another room. The sparrow may know nothing about the man who once wore the hat, yet it returns to the same place every day — as if the house cannot completely become a memory while the bird is still there and the radio is still playing. • This collection moves through Qajar and court-inspired music, Persian instrumental pieces, deep detuned piano, violin, Persian poetry, and warm vintage radio textures.
