Adam Stonebraker Practicing with the Suttas 8/26/26

This was the third installment of a Sutta study class led by Guiding Teacher Adam Stonebraker, where participants discussed the Rohitasa Sutta from the Anguttara Nikaya. The class began with a chant and meditation, followed by Adam reading the sutta about Rohitasa, a seer who possessed incredible speed and traveled for 100 years trying to reach the end of the world, only to die in his quest. Participants shared their initial impressions, with some finding the teaching straightforward about the need to look inward rather than outward for enlightenment, while others struggled with understanding the concept of "cosmos" and found the message similar to other Buddhist teachings about letting go of attachment and seeking.
