Transfer Case oil change | Discovery 3 Land Rover

In this video I run through how to change the oil in a Land Rover Discovery 3 transfer case. The case contains approx 1.5L of oil and I use Royal Purple Syncromax. Generally I'd recommend changing the oil in the transfer case every 60-70,000km. Even with the small oil capacity a quality oil will last well. The transfer case is a Magna Steyr DD295 and its a chain drive unit with a central diff wet clutch pack for the variable lockup. The clutch would be my main consideration in regards to the oil spec you use.
