Leather Map Case PDF Pattern and Tutorial - DIY Case for Maps, Posters, Blueprints - Steampunk Case

I designed this to be strong, easy to put together, hand-stitch, and have a great finished product. Measurements, other than stitching, were done in inches since i'm in the U.S. and only have access to hardware sized in inches. Size: outer length 26 inches, inner diameter 3.75 inches. Depending on the thickness and temper of your leather, you might need to use the optional strip to reinforce the really long seam of the case body and/or the cap. I used a very thick and stiff leather, so in the video I don't use the strip, but I do mention it. The keepers, buckles, and D-rings will either be 1 inch or 1.25 inch.
