Did you know "Bibim" means mixing? Just like Bibimbap with rice, Bibim Guksu is the noodle version of that same mixing magic!
It’s amazingly simple—just boil the noodles, toss them with the sauce, and voila, it’s ready!
Mom's secret tip: make a big batch of sauce to keep in the fridge so you can whip up a sweet, tangy cold noodle meal in under five minutes.
Even Trader Joe’s released their own Bibim Guksu recently and it’s super popular, but nothing beats home-made!

📝INGREDIENTS (1 serving)
Somen (Wheat Noodles): 200g (7 oz)
Somen: Thin Korean wheat noodles that cook quickly and deliver a light, chewy texture
Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
Boiled Egg
Sliced Cucumber
Tart Kimchi: ½ Cup
🧑🍳 STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
[Spicy Sweet & Tangy Sauce]
Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste): 2 Tbsp
Vinegar: 1.5 Tbsp
Sugar: 2 Tbsp
Minced Garlic: ⅔ Tbsp
Soy Sauce: 1 Tbsp
Sesame Oil: 1 Tbsp
Kimchi Juice: 4 Tbsp
Tart Kimchi: ½ Cup
1. Make Sauce: Mix Gochujang, apple juice, and seasonings in a bowl.
2. Boil Noodles: Cook somyeon in boiling water for exactly 3 minutes.
3. Rinse Cold: Drain noodles immediately and rinse thoroughly in ice water.
4. Mix & Toss: Squeeze out excess water and toss noodles with the sauce and tart kimchi.
5. Garnish & Serve: Top with sliced cucumber and a boiled egg—enjoy!
