It's been a little while since I've checked out some new BAND-MAID, and WOW... THESE LADIES HAVE NOT MISSED A BEAT! 🤘🔥 HUGE thanks to Anthony for sponsoring another reaction and bringing me back to one of my favorite Japanese rock bands! "SPIN" is the ending theme for BEYBLADE X, and the title couldn't be more appropriate! Between the spinning imagery, musical twists and turns, and absolutely insane musicianship, this song is CLASSIC BAND-MAID! This is exactly what made me fall in love with this band in the first place! 🔥 Crazy tempo changes and genre shifts! 🔥 AKANE absolutely destroying the drums! 🔥 KANAMI unleashing some belligerent lead guitar right from the intro! 🔥 Those tight, palm-muted, mid-tempo verse riffs! 🔥 SAIKI delivering fantastic vocals and melodies! 🔥 MIKU getting her moment to shine in the bridge! 🔥 Incredible guitar solo with lightning striking during the performance! 🔥 Killer breakdowns and flawless musical transitions! 🔥 A super creative music video with spinning imagery, multiple reflections, mirrors, and that disco-flavored chorus! What amazes me about BAND-MAID is how they manage to pack SO MUCH MUSIC into such a short amount of time. The arrangements are constantly changing, the musicianship is ridiculous, and somehow everything still sounds cohesive! That's not an easy thing to accomplish! I especially loved the breakdown at the end of the first chorus. My only small critique is that I would've loved to hear them revisit that section later in the song and build on it even further! But that ending breakdown?! SICK! 🔥 The guitar solo was FIRE, the drumming was phenomenal, and the entire song was a musical roller coaster! THIS IS TOP-TIER BAND-MAID! Nothing more, nothing less. Everything that made me a fan of these ladies is still there, and they're continuing to deliver the goods! 🙏 HUGE SHOUT OUT TO ANTHONY for sponsoring this reaction!
