Aortic Mural Hematoma CT

Very rare finding in the thoracic aorta known as Aortic Medial Hematoma. This is similar to an aortic intimal dissection, but with involvement of the MEDIA rather than the INTIMA of the aorta. EXTREMELY rare. Surrounding mediastinal anatomy is also discussed.
