Welcome back to the 90s, when Friday night meant going to the video store, wandering through rows of VHS tapes and choosing a movie based almost entirely on whether the cover looked cool. 📼😂 This is my first playthrough of Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator, where I get to run my own gloriously nostalgic 90s video rental store. The actual job involves stocking and organising VHS tapes, handling rentals and returns, taking reservations, charging late fees, selling snacks and gradually expanding the store. Sounds wholesome, doesn't it? It was not wholesome. The game contains thousands of fictional movie titles, and some of the ones we encountered were absolutely fucking hilarious. There are questionable movies. Questionable customers. An extremely questionable adult section. And an increasing amount of laughter as I attempt to run something vaguely resembling a legitimate business. ⚠️ NSFW / mature-content warning: Some of the randomly generated movie titles and adult-store content in this playthrough are definitely not suitable for work or younger viewers.
