One day, a prophet visited their home and shared revelations about Evans’ wife. He claimed her family had a troubled past, and that her father had committed serious wrongs. Eventually, the couple relocated to Kisumu. By then, they had two children. Evans opened a shop and an M-Pesa business for his wife. However, she began misusing the business funds, sending money to her mother regularly. She insisted that her mother deserved a comfortable life. Meanwhile, she neglected their home, which became increasingly unkempt. Her neglect escalated to the point where she abandoned her responsibilities as a mother. Evans was forced to report the situation to FIDA (Federation of Women Lawyers). After the case was reviewed, Evans was granted full custody of the children. He is now separated from his wife and raising their two children as a single father.
