Scored XX Marks in SIMCAT 13… | Mock Attempt & Analysis | CAT 2026

In this video, I attempt and analyse *SIMCAT 13* as part of my CAT 2026 preparation journey. Overall, I found this mock to be of moderate difficulty, but the analysis gave me quite a few things to work on. In VARC, I attempted two RCs along with the VA questions. My score in this section is still fluctuating, so I need to continue working on reading speed, comprehension and RC analysis. LRDI was an interesting section for me. I managed to solve one set completely during the mock, but I made a mistake while setting up some of the data, which cost me a lot of time. I also started another set but couldn't complete it because of the time pressure. During the analysis, I was able to solve three sets, which made me realise that I need to improve my execution and time management. In Quants, I attempted 8 questions and got 7 correct. However, during the analysis, I was able to solve around 12–13 questions. That gap between what I can solve during analysis and what I can execute under actual mock pressure is something I really need to work on. I'm still completing my CAT syllabus, with Geometry, Number System and Modern Maths yet to be covered. So there is still a lot of work to be done.
