Wringinanom 2017 South of the River

Following the end of steam-worked field trains in Java, Wringinanom became my favourite diesel field-worked mill in Java. It was a compact system (very walkable) with small locos working south of the river, friendly crews to give you rides and a very peaceful feeling out in the fields. This video shows the empties going out in the morning, the locos going out light engine in the afternoon after shift change and the daily struggle on very poor track to bring back the fulls to the mill. Derailments are frequent. The locos really struggle. But what an experience! If it clings on for a year or so, this might just tempt me back to Java!
