Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Master Collection Vol.2) Walkthrough Act 2 Part 2 — Snake meets Naomi, fights Laughing Octopus, snipes Vamp and witnesses Raiden's return. 4K PC gameplay, no commentary. Deep inside the research lab, Snake finally comes face to face with Naomi Hunter, and their long conversation about FOXDIE, his accelerated aging and the fate hanging over both of them is cut short when Liquid's Haven Troopers storm the lab and drag her away under Vamp's command. Left alone in the lab, Snake is ambushed by Laughing Octopus of the Beauty and the Beast Unit, a nightmare of an opponent who mimics everything in the room — the anatomical dummy, a dead FROG, the paintings, even the Mk. II and Naomi herself — forcing Snake to lean on the Solid Eye's night vision to pick her out before she strikes, and when her tentacles and mask finally come off she transforms into Laughing Beauty for the last phase of the fight. With the boss down, the game stops pointing the way and Snake has to hunt Naomi himself across the Mountain Trail, reading footprints, broken branches and trampled grass through the infrared Solid Eye while FROG soldiers wait in ambush along the route, until the sound of a helicopter tells him he's finally caught up.
