How To Make Pressed Flower Art & Decor 🌼 Cozy Tutorial

Hello everyone and welcome back! In this video, I'm sharing some of my favorite ways to turn beautiful flowers into everlasting art. Instead of letting those pretty blossoms wilt, we're going to press them and create some beautiful, aesthetic projects for your home and as gifts. Join me as I show you how to make framed pressed flower art, a unique pressed flower bookmark, and even how to design your own tea light as well as candle sticks! This is the perfect relaxing craft to do on a rainy afternoon, and all you need are a few simple supplies. I've also included a quick guide on how to press your own flowers so you can follow along with me. How to Press Flowers: Choose Your Flowers: Pick flowers that are not too thick or have too much moisture. Daisies, poppies, and ferns work wonderfully. Pick them in the morning after the dew has dried. Arrange Them: Gently place your flowers between two sheets of paper (parchment or absorbent paper if the flowers are a little thicker). Make sure the petals are flat and not overlapping. Pressing: Place your paper-flower-paper sandwich inside a heavy book. Add more weight on top of the book. Wait: Let the flowers press for about 2-3 weeks. The wait is worth it—once they're completely dry, they will be ready for your projects!
