Dwarskersbos (19 March 2022)

We had the privilege of being invited to our friends house in Dwarskersbos, near to Velddrif, for a tjop 'n dop. It is about 1hr 30min from home so we stayed over, not wanting to risk driving home on the West Coast Road (R27). I had only been to Dwarskersbos once before, for a family reunion and the place has not changed much since I was there. I only have positive things to say about this truly beautiful place. The beach is pristine and goes on for days! You can walk and not see another soul for hours. Perfect to recharge your batteries. I very big thank you to Bill and Liz for the invite. We had an amazing time! Great company in an awesome setting, with a fire and a good wine. What more could a person ask for?
