Heartland Season 20 Episode 3 Trailer | Why Jack Keeps Saying Goodbye

Heartland Season 20 Episode 3, “In the Driver’s Seat,” airs October 18, and Jack Bartlett’s story may be the quietest and most emotional one of the season. In this video, we break down what the episode is about and the pattern that has been building since the premiere. Jack has thought about retirement, taken Nate Sr. on one last ride with Rowdy, and now he is teaching Dex the next step in bull riding. Is Jack proud of Dex, or is he afraid of what comes next? We also look at Amy’s storyline with Tammy, Lisa’s sister, and her Standardbred racing horse. Tammy is dealing with a broken heart, and the timing is interesting because Episode 4 brings a troubling secret that Lisa and Jack discover. On top of that, Lou has exciting new plans for the Dude Ranch, which may clash with Jack’s quiet worries about change.
