CLPs on the Double Consist Indian Pacific - 30 Years Ago

This video is a compilation of the shots I have from the mid 90s of the CLPs on the Indian Pacific. This follows a number of requests I've had from viewers who, like me, remember the great sound and sight of the CLPs working hard over the mountains on the IP. The video begins with a collection of shots of the IP descending the mountains and through Western Sydney. It then continues with a collection of shots of the IP travelling through Western Sydney and then climbing over the mountains. The Blue Mountains sequence was shot on the 30th September 1996, just on 30 years ago, with CLPs 12 and 16 working hard on a double consist Indian Pacific. The shots of the IP travelling down the mountains were shot in December 1994 and January 1996.
