The Red Army (TRA) on The Stretford End, Old Trafford Manchester

Manchester United group 'The Red Army (TRA)', building the noise inside Old Trafford 20 mins before kick-off. TRA is made up of thousands of die-hard, match-going supporters and have been heavily involved with improving the atmosphere and with ownership protests over the past 8 seasons. TRA are situated in 3800 seats behind the goal at The Stretford End Occasionally, The Club agreed to turn off pre-match music in order for the fans to build a genuine atmosphere, this is why there is none of the usual background music heard in football stadiums before kick-off. This is an on-going battle with The Club but when they listen, the results speak for themselves.
