INTJ Island: A Dozen INTJ Frustrations. In this video, I discuss 12 things that frustrate me in day to day living, and why they do. This is not an exhaustive list, and it may or may not represent how other INTJs feel. Our introversion can invert the extraverts reaction to various things. Many things that make an extravert smile, simply irritate me. We also favor intuition and that requires us to pause and think, which a rapid speaking extravert may misinterpret. The interface can feel like trying to use a metric wrench on a 3/4-inch bolt. We use thinking to decide, not feelings, and as judgers, we like to drive straight to a goal rather than taking side trips. We like an orderly approach to life, and yet we prefer innovation. We look to the future, and the mundane trivia of today can be boring to us. We are an interesting mix of rigid adherence to facts and logic, but we are fluid and malleable as we form patterns that can shape our vision of the future.
