Girona Bike Rides:Route Guide - Els Angels Loop

This route is an absolute classic and most, if not all, road cyclists visiting Girona will be keen to ride it. Featuring two climbs, the famous Els Angels and the beautiful Santa Pellaia, the route also calls in at the stunning medieval village of Monells, and recommends a water stop in another wonderful village - Madremanya. The route is 60km in total, with a vertical ascent of around 9oo meters. It's easily ridden in around two and a half hours but it's very hard not to recommend at least one stop.
