From Praise to Warning? The Three Stages of Shaykh Ibn Bāz’s Position on Jamāʿat al-Tablīgh!

The Shaykh explains that this was not a recommendation or endorsement of the group, but rather an acknowledgement of their need to be taught and corrected. • The Third Stage: After further clarification of their condition, Shaykh Ibn Bāz’s final verdict was that people should not go out with Jamāʿat al-Tablīgh, and that they are among the seventy-three sects, as mentioned in his final fatāwā on the matter.
