Fourteen records in just over an hour. Starts at 128, finishes at 147.
The title isn't a mood. Carte Blanche is from 1999, and Veracocha was Vincent de Moor and Ferry Corsten — so Corsten is in this set twice. Once as half of a record older than some of the people who'll hear it, and once under his own name with Rise Up. Neither one sounds like the odd one out, and that's most of what I was after here.
There's one deliberate dip in the middle. Everything around it sits at 140; Ørjan Nilsen's Violetta comes in at 128 and the set takes a breath before it climbs back out. If you want it flat and relentless the whole way, that part will annoy you.
Ends on Hannah Laing. 4am In A Rave. Right place to stop.
