We Get Life (2026 remix) Dave Graney and Clare Moore

"A song that originally appeared on our 2022 album In A mistLY.I just wanted to have another pass at it. It had a guitar lick facing one way and the bass looking away. I needed to parse them so they locked in together better. While I was there I did the vocal again. Then I gave it more keys, more backing vocals from Clare Moore and yes, more cowbell". It a song about life. We get life - we get life an hour - a moment deep own inside - we know - we know sometimes we know we look up at the blue sky in winter time one of those sharp days brilliant sun - blue sky - cold air sweatin’ inside your coat you look up and say your mothers name she’s in the ground far away she had a life - she had a spell she holds you still we get life - we get life we get life - we get life Robert Graves - Laura Riding - Wyndham Lewis - Howling Wolf we get life - we get life one by one they fell into the ground and were not once again they came from deep within the stream of I like us we punched the clock we punched on we got life we get life - we get life - we get life - we get life Dave Graney, vocals, electric guitar, bass .
