and so august begins...

august 2024 august is one of my favorite months. the pre-transition month before fall, the big season of shedding. august is when people usually go all out on their experiences, summer is almost over, got to soak up the sun while you can before it’s time for change. the beginning of august is always slow for me, and i love it. i get to see how my year has gone an be able to figure out what is next as we head into the colder months. i can see why people say august slips away, when you are living in the moment, time can fly as much as it can slow down. i choose to embrace and surrender to the flow of time, as it was never mine.
