Have you ever wondered how to say the words in Irish on the Faery Wicca Tarot? I've spent hours working it out so you don't have to! Lol.
Yes I am Irish but I am not a fluent Irish speaker. I am a student of Irish and discovering this deck has been part of that journey for me. These pronunciations and translations are accurate to the best of my knowledge.
I am learning Ulster Irish. There are 3 dialects of Irish with sometimes subtle, sometimes not differences between them. All three are "correct".
To prepare for this video I did ask more fluent Irish speakers for help. I also used the two websites below which are very reputable online dictionaries for Irish.

The deck used is the Faery Wicca Tarot by Kisma K Stepanich and published by Llewellyn in 1999. I am sorry to say it is currently out of print. It is the only tarot deck I am aware of that uses the Irish language.
The Irish used but not written on the cards is written as below:
The four "gifts of the Faery" as Gaeilge are:
slat choill - the Hazel wand
brainse úllach - apple branch
cloch coisricthe - holy stone
mála corr - crane bag
The numbers 1 to 10 for playing cards are:
An t-aon _________
An do
An trí
An ceathair
An cúig
An sé
An seacht
An t-ocht
An naoi
An deich
