This sunny morning walk starts at Milsons Point Station, where quiet Kirribilli welcomes us with leafy streets, cosy cafés, and friendly neighbourhood life. We pass the memorial of Jim Saad, a well-loved local shoe repairer, before heading towards the famous jacaranda street. At this time of year the purple flowers are in full bloom, creating a bright tunnel of colour that attracts many visitors. Along the way we enjoy small but beautifully kept front gardens, jasmine plants climbing over fences, and peaceful corners filled with fresh greenery. After leaving the jacaranda street, we enter Milson Park, a wide open space with views of the bay, tall palm trees, and dogs happily running around. The park is clean and calm, with neatly cut grass and hedges. As we continue walking, the quiet residential area slowly changes, with more apartment buildings and increasing traffic. Within minutes, the peaceful suburb of Kirribilli leads us into the busy energy of North Sydney, where high-rise towers, roadworks, and highways show a very different side of city life.
