We are often asked about a sled or pulk for pulling kids and toddlers while cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Our Snowclipper pulk sled has slots molded into it which makes it easy to add backrests. Find more info on pulk sleds for children on our site: https://www.skipulk.com/sp_faq/how-to...
Used with our harness and pole system you’ll have the control and stability needed while cross country skiing or snowshoeing with your child or toddler in a pulk sled. While we do not provide the backrests, you can easily cut them out of 1/2″ plywood described in the video (use cardboard to create a template first if desired).
Our poles and harness can also be installed on the Pelican Baby Sled Deluxe or the EraPro Snowflake Sled which both come with a harness and weather shield to provide safety and control to cross country ski or snowshoe with your baby in a sled.
With such precious cargo, be sure to ski well within your limits of controlling the sled.
