Full Moon over the Old Quarry 🌙 Japanese Sleep Music | Shakuhachi & Koto for Deep Sleep #102

Full Moon over the Old Quarry. Gentle Japanese soundscapes — shakuhachi, koto, and soft ambient tones — for deep sleep, meditation, and quiet nights. 🌙 Scene: Approaching the entrance to an old quarry beneath a full moon. A note on this scene: Old Japanese quarry sites preserve cut faces and tool marks that show how stone was removed. Look for the line of wedge holes in the pale rock, revealed by an imagined full moon. 00:00:00 Full Moon over the Old Quarry 00:03:26 Square Face of the Cut Wall 00:06:58 Moon Disc above the Notch 00:10:45 Wedge Marks in a Straight Line 00:14:07 Stone Chip beside a Footprint 00:17:44 Lantern in the Quarry Recess 00:21:04 The Unworked Face 00:24:26 Terraces of Pale Stone 00:27:40 A Wedge Hole without an Edge 00:30:53 Leaving the Stone Unchanged 00:34:16 Full Moon over the Old Quarry 00:37:42 Square Face of the Cut Wall 00:41:14 Moon Disc above the Notch 00:45:01 Wedge Marks in a Straight Line 00:48:23 Stone Chip beside a Footprint 00:52:00 Lantern in the Quarry Recess 00:55:20 The Unworked Face 00:58:42 Terraces of Pale Stone 01:01:56 A Wedge Hole without an Edge 01:05:09 Leaving the Stone Unchanged (total 68m32s) Oborozuki（朧月）— "the hazy moon" of old Japanese poetry, the moon you see just before falling asleep. New quiet nights follow the Japanese calendar: phases of the moon, the 24 sekki, and still places across Japan.
