MARY HOPKIN & SUNDANCE - THE SMILE ON YOUR FACE

The Smile On Your Face was written by the multi talented singer/ songwriter Andrew Gold who recorded the track under the title That's Why I Love You. Formed in 1981, Sundance was originally conceived as a studio trio that paired Mary Hopkin's soaring vocals with the production and singing talents of Mike Hurst and Michael d'Albuquerque. They released two singles. "What's Love" (1981) and “Walk Right In" (1982). They made several television appearances and also supported Dr. Hook on a UK tour in the early 1980s. A CD Sundance was released in 2002 which included 4 “live” bonus tracks.
