Fifty-odd Claude Code skills nobody tracked, checks that only ran when I remembered, and no single place to see any of it. In one evening I built the layer that closes that gap: StackMade OS, an agentic operating system on top of Claude Code. This is not a tutorial. It's a tour of the idea and of how I built mine, in four layers (ARMS): skills that know whether they get used, routines on a dollar cap, memory you can grep without a vector database, and one local screen for all of it. The vault underneath is plain PARA. With today's real numbers: last week's usage priced at API list prices came to $768.73, and it all runs on a $100-a-month Claude Code Max subscription. I also replayed the week through Jev, my prompt router: about 7% cheaper, because most of the bill is big work that should stay on Opus. 📖 The full story, with the screenshots: https://slomka.pro/blog/stackmade-os-... 🧠 The memory layer, set up step by step:    • Give your coding agent memory: Serena + Gr...   Chapters 00:00 Cold open: fifty skills nobody tracked 01:28 The idea: Claude Code as a kernel, four layers (ARMS) 02:46 Skills that know whether they get used 04:27 Routines on a dollar cap 06:14 Memory: PARA, routers, no vector database 07:13 Apps: one local screen, and the Brain 08:39 What it costs ($768 a week at API prices, Jev on/off, a $100 plan) 10:09 Is it worth building? #ClaudeCode #AIAgents #AgenticOS #Obsidian #DeveloperWorkflow
