5년 넘게 묵혀두었던 퀼트 소품을 꺼내 이번에는 다이어리 커버로 리폼해봤어요🧵📖 원래 커버용으로 만든 것도 아니었지만 사이즈를 맞춰보고, 스티치건으로 임시 고정한 뒤 공구르기와 손바느질로 하나씩 연결해주었습니다. 여기에 재활용한 단추와 다이어리 잠금장치, 새로 달아본 아일렛과 키링, 장식용 라벨까지 더하고 마지막에는 조금 서툴지만 직접 자수도 놓아봤어요. 특히 고양이와 생선 장식을 달고 나니 볼수록 귀엽고 마음에 드는 다이어리 커버가 완성되었습니다🐱🐟 사용하지 않던 퀼트 소품을 새로운 용도로 다시 활용했다는 점에서 의미 있었던 작업이에요. 완성된 다이어리의 앞태, 옆태, 뒤태부터 작은 비밀 공간까지 영상에서 함께 확인해주세요 :) 오늘도 영상 끝까지 시청해주셔서 감사합니다🤍 I turned an old quilt piece that had been sitting unused for over 5 years into a unique handmade diary cover! 🧵📖 This quilt piece wasn't originally made to be a diary cover, but its size happened to be just right, so I decided to give it a new life. I removed the original diary cover, adjusted the corners, and temporarily attached the quilt piece before sewing everything together by hand. I also reused some buttons and other materials, added a diary clasp, an eyelet for a keyring, decorative buttons, a label, and even some simple embroidery. The little cat and fish details make the finished cover even more fun and personal. 🐱🐟 I also reused an old album and unused diary paper inside the cover, making this a little upcycling project as well. There are a few imperfections, and I even wondered whether I should add more quilting around the edges… but in the end, I decided to leave it as it was. 😆 I love how the finished diary feels soft, cozy, and completely unique.
